Popp Fountain Reception Hall

The firm has completed a reception hall adjacent to City Park’s historic Popp Fountain to replace one destroyed in Hurricane Katrina. The new 8000 sf, $2.5M facility is composed of four forms: an engineered tent reception hall supported by three one-story permanent structures housing a bride’s suite, an outdoor service bar, public toilet rooms, storage and kitchen areas. Sited on axis with the classical fountain, the reception hall is bordered with pergolas on the south and west with a generous patio area spilling out onto a landscaped lawn for outdoor events and concerts.
