Port Hudson Cemetery

This project for the Veterans Administration and the National Cemetery Service integrates a historic cemetery established after the Civil War battle at Port Hudson, Louisiana with a new burial area of approximate the same size. The scope of this $2.5 million project, completed in 1999, encompassed the restoration of Lodge and Maintenance buildings, construction of new Committal Shelter and Employee Services buildings, and development of roads, walks, walls, signage and plantings.
